Anatomical 3D Models
2022–23Completed
Three interactive anatomical models (Dermatomes, Pain Map, Peripheral Nervous System) built in Blender, exported as glTF for Three.js integration in a live medical questionnaire app.
PG Medical Systems commissioned three interactive anatomical 3D models for integration into their patient-facing questionnaire application. The models allow patients to visually indicate pain location and type on a human body map — replacing text-based input with an intuitive spatial interface.
Three models were delivered: a Dermatome map, a general Pain Map, and a Peripheral Nervous System overlay. Each model was built in Blender with clean topology optimised for web, then exported as glTF and integrated into the live app via Three.js.
The models are used in production in a medical context, where accuracy and performance are both critical.
